International Conference on Algebra and Coalgebra in Computer Science (CALCO) aims to bring together researchers and practitioners with interests in foundational aspects, and both traditional and emerging uses of algebras and coalgebras in computer science. The study of algebra and coalgebra relates to the data, process and structural aspects of software systems.
This bi-annual conference was formed by joining the forces and reputations of:
- CMCS (the International Workshop on Coalgebraic Methods in Computer Science), and
- WADT (the Workshop on Algebraic Development Techniques).
Previous CALCO editions took place in:
The fifth edition of CALCO takes place in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. The conference venue is the Old Library in the University of Warsaw central campus, located close to the historic Old Town.
The main event will be preceded by the CALCO Early Ideas Workshop. A workshop dedicated to tools based on algebraic and/or coalgebraic principles, CALCO-Tools, will be held together with the main CALCO conference, in interleaving sessions.
